The Delhi government announced on Tuesday its decision to maintain the ‘No PUC, No Fuel’ policy for vehicles, even after the lifting of GRAP-IV restrictions. In a press conference, Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa stated that anti-pollution measures will persist in the national capital, and vehicles lacking a valid PUC (Pollution Under Control) certificate will be prohibited from operating in the city. The ‘No PUC, No Fuel’ rule was implemented in Delhi on December 18 as part of increased efforts to address rising air pollution levels. The minister also indicated that the government will allocate ₹100 crore for the rejuvenation of water bodies throughout the city.
