The civil aviation ministry has approved two new airlines, Al Hind Air and FlyExpress, which are set to start operations next year. The airlines obtained their no objection certificates from the ministry on Wednesday as per information. Additionally, Shankh Air is expected to begin flight operations in 2026, having already received its No Objection Certificate. At present, IndiGo and the Air India Group, which includes Air India and Air India Express, together hold over 90 percent of the domestic civil aviation market share.
