New Delhi: As per the latest news reports, ISRO on December 18, announced the beginning of the assembly process for the Human-Rated Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (HLVM3) at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota. This marks a major milestone in India's Gaganyaan mission, aiming to achieve its first human spaceflight.
ISRO celebrated the announcement as a "major step towards India’s maiden human spaceflight and future space ambitions." Coincidentally, the development comes on the 10th anniversary of the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM3-X/CARE) mission, held on December 18, 2014.
